How much does clearing a deceased estate cost?

What does an estate clearance include?
What is included is set out in the quote and can cover sorting the contents, packing, carrying, removal, transport to recycling and charity, and a light clean. Always confirm the scope with the provider before the work starts.
Who can arrange an estate clearance?
Usually the beneficiaries of the estate, or someone authorised to act on its behalf, arrange the work. If there are several beneficiaries, it helps to agree on what is cleared and what is kept before the job begins.
Do relatives need to be present during the work?
It is not required. Many people attend at the start and finish, but if you cannot be there, access, keys, what should be kept and how the work is signed off should be agreed with the provider in advance.
